In a unexpected collaboration that defies traditional forecasts, the game developer has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of forbidden rituals and fearsome transformations reverberate through the darkness." The storyline presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.
The mission focuses on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
